I was a patient of Dr. Tegtmeier at the VA until he recently returned to private practice. Dr. Tegtmeier has always been a superior doctor. He has always been very thorough, and he always listened carefully and patiently to whatever I had to say. I also appreciated his gentle sense of humor. I depend on the VA for my health care, and I am really going to miss Dr. Tegtmeier.

Doctor techmeyer was my doctor first over 23 years and I was heartbroken and lost after he made the transition from family medicine to the VA hospital because I was no longer be able to be a patient of his and it's been over 5 years at least since he made the switch to practice at the VA which is highly admirable but has left me so lost I have never found any doctor that even compared to the insight and intern to his patients... Dr. T is great - his staff, not so much. Would have given 5 stars but the staff has forgot to fill a prescription twice. Sent me to get complete blood work and upon arrival the lab tells me they have no record of the order. Called Dr’s office and they confirmed they could see my appointment and again not sure why the order was not placed.
