The Alpha Hensen house in Lincoln taught me how to be obedient in God's Word and I came to have a personal relationship with the Lord. My counselor there Sam devoted lots of time and patience into guiding me to making life changing corrections that have stuck with me to this day. I have my family back and I'm living a clean and sober life today. Teen Challenge changed my life.
Great directions
Two young men stopped by and said they were from teen challenge and they were asking for donations for their cause. Then there eyes lit up when they shared there clean time with me. Having been sober for a number of yrs, it melted my heart to see such young ppl struggle with addiction. I went to my first meeting when I was 16. I didnt recover then but by my early age 20's it stuck. Well I rested on my laurels and I relaps after 20 yrs of sobriety.
