I brought a vehicle in for an inspection only and specifically stated twice that I am a mechanic and not to perform any repairs without contacting me first. When I called for an update, I was told "the upper radiator hose started leaking antifreeze when it was up on the lift" and was presented with a quote of $350. When we needed a transmission replacement for our van, we didn't even consider taking it anywhere else. We pulled it all the way from North Carolina to New York because we trust this shop that much.
