Ted was treating me in a condescending mannner. I asked him that on his website he had a different $ amount for a smog certification and he said no its $45 which was completely different from his advertisement. Ted treated his employees like dogs. He treated his other customers like trash. He was intimidating . He was a bully. Never again will I ever go to this place. Close his business !!!
A few months ago I brought my husbands truck here for an oil change and tire rotation. When I went up to pay they told me THEY put the truck in the wrong bay so they were not going to do the tire rotation yet somehow I still had to pay for it. Then today I went there for an oil change and the manager told me they were too busy and couldn't take my business to which I responded very politely with "okay that's fine. I understand. I recieved the same treatment as many others from Ted's Tires, he is a complete jackass! We were told to enter the bay for a tire repair when all of a sudden Ted comes out yelling and cussing at his employee to get that POS out of here(refering to us). My wife and I were in total shock. We backed up into a parking spot and debated whether or not we even wanted them to touch our car. Sad enough we decided to try Ted's out. Best thing I can tell you about Ted's Tire & Total Car is DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I now believe any and all "good" reviews about this place are FAKE. Save your time and sanity go to ANYONE else but Ted's Tire.
My experience with Ted's Tires is all positive. Ted gave my wife and I an excellent price on deferred, required Lexus service on our Lexus RX330. We needed new tires, brakes, water pump and timing chain, all fluid changes and front struts. Ted and Fernando are upfront and honest folks. I believe if you treat someone with respect they will treat you the same way. My suggestion is to give Ted's a try and then decide for yourself.
STAY AWAY FROM TED'S!!! FAKE REVIEWS!! Go to Google to see the real reviews. WORST MECHANIC SHOP IN ALL OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. Completely immature and unprofessional. When approached about problems, he yelled at my girlfriend, and ran away into shop like a little girl, and wouldn't even talk to us. Ruined over $2,000 worth of work on my Mercedes, then refused to fix, or even look at it again.
