Just got a call from Teds and they say will still have to pay well over a 600.00 trip charge to come out for warranty work. See my previous review. They have horrible customer service and the way our 42 View came off the like, through the dealer for what they called a "thorough go through" to make sure everything was good and to have it show up the way it did is obscene and very poor customer service. Good luck with them, they will not have your back once you walk out the door.
Not a great experience so far. Bought the 42View to use at a campground in the summer and we winter in AZ 7 months. Moved back from Florida, made the purchase and were told it was on the road headed to their dealership. We found out that wasn't true and had to move into a hotel. Not happy about that expense. Trailer comes about 2 weeks late. Called them with issues that never should have left the factory, mbr door won't close, latch and opening in frame are 2 inches apart. Rip off I had the holding tanks"plastic welded" as so they said they were going to do and all I got for $300.00 is a little epoxy slobbered on the tanks that fell off. I would not recommend anybody going there for anything of any kind !!!
My husband and I purchased a travel trailer from Teds on May 6th, 2021. We are from out of state, so we were not sure what to expect. The whole process went smoothly! This was our first travel trailer, Pat did our walk-through, I cannot say enough good things about him! He took the time, answered all of our questions and never rushed us. Buyer beware with Ted’s RV Land. They don’t stand behind their deals, their word is no good, nor is their paperwork behind their word. Last fall I negotiated a deal, was sent a buyers order, put money down to hold / order the unit in mid November around the 11th. The unit was to arrive in late February. No call in February - reached out to dealer / salesman in March, and was told it would probably be a spring build. I said I’d wait. Lots of Parts – Went to Teds to order a part for my camper and they ended up having the part in stock. They were very informative and friendly. Great experience!
