For four years in a row, Ted's Fish Fry was voted the Best Fish Fry in the Capital District by the readers of Capital Region Living Magazine.

Rude conduct – On Wed April 20 at approx 3:15 pm I was coming from a dentist appointment. Before that I had just worked a 8 hr day at my job so I was feeling a lil tired and wanted a quick dinner. I drove out of my way to Ted's in North Troy. I went inside to place my order to take home with me for my male mate and myself. Best FishFry anywhere! – I go to Ted's everytime we want a chnage from the big chains(usually a few times a month). And for you people that don't understand what a quality fishfry is like and how hard there are to come by, then keep on driving by! Those of us who love a capital district treat will continue to pull in when we drive near for the tasty fishfry and the most awesome onion rings ever!!!!! Ted's rocks ...keep up the great work guys!
worst dining experiance in a long time – teds fish fry troy ny my experience at teds fish fry started when the cook mistakenly cooked the wrong items then proceeded to hand me a cheeseburger that looked like it had been smashed into a pancake, i also ordered a fish fry that looked and smelled awfull, the fish was absolutetly second rate . to top this all off one of the staff gave me a dirty look when i took extra napkins. AMAZING Fish Fry and Fast Food Experience – The outside of Ted's Fish Fry looks pretty ordinary, as does the order counter that I first walk up to to order my food. The place looks straight out of the 70s, as the cashier yells our order back to the cooks. We wait for a few minutes until our tray is delivered, and Boy, is it worth every second. Best fish fry anywhere! – In a world of chain restaurants and 'homogenized' food, Ted's Fish Fry stands apart from the rest. It's still a family-run, yell-the-order-out type of place that happens to have the best authentic fish fries around. I instantly flash back to my childhood just entering the place. Ya gotta love Ted's!
