This place is horrible. They want you to buy the parts, but then they don't want to know you to put them in. And if you do it yourself, God forbid, you call them for some help, they act like you're gonna sue them for everything, which is far from the point. But they'll let you buy the parts out, but they won't help you put them in. People have to save money. This place was the worst service I've ever dealt with. How a business treats its most vulnerable clients is a good reflection of their integrity. My mother is 93 years old, weak and housebound. Kevin charged her $271 to replace a simple gasket. She is now physically unable to shut/use the dishwasher, due to this "repair". I called requesting someone help her by adjusting this and I heard Kevin in the background (very aggravated tone) saying "I TOLD her to force it shut!". Please read this and don’t get service from this place. Extremely disappointed with Ted Appliance in Shelton. Technician Kevin was unprofessional, failed to diagnose my refrigerator issue, charged an unreasonable amount for no solution, displayed a rude attitude, provided little communication, and completely wasted my time, money, and trust.
In a word rude, the technician Kevin had an attitude right from the start. He refused to do the service for which I had the parts. In a way after reading the reviews I'm very glad because I'm certain it could have only become an even bigger problem.
I’ve worked with this company before and they are excellent! From picking up the phone to having a technician come over. They are so customer friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. I would definitely refer this company to anyone.
