I have had a couple of surgeries with Dr. Ritchie. I appreciate the time he took to talk to me and ask if I had any questions about what I was going to go through. He took the time to answer my questions and asked if I had any follow-up questions, which I think was very telling. The staff at the surgery center and clinic have been very responsive and quick to address any issues.

Feedback: I’m extremely disappointed with the care I received over the past year. Despite repeatedly bringing up my concerns, my condition was never truly addressed. Instead of exploring alternative treatments or solutions, surgery was suggested as the only option—yet even after going through with it, the issue still persists. What’s more frustrating is that after all this, I was simply referred to someone else without clear answers or support. Dr. Richie is very good. His office, however, is quite the opposite. He prescribed a medication which requires a prior authorization. I have been on this medication for more than ten years. The office has refilled this for me in the past. As of now they told me they would not provide required insurance documentation. His office does not follow-up on the patients notes post-office visit. Dr. Ritchie is the best! He came in to the room, sat down, and let me walk through all my concerns. He listened attentively, asked pointed questions, and carefully helped me find the right path. He did not push particular treatments but educated me on each avenue. He is an excellent communicator, talks slowly, and never minds repeating or answering questions. He followed up a week later to check on me. He truly made me feel validated and understood. Each time I left his office, I felt like I was on the right track.

I had a surgical procedure performed by a physician in the Urology Clinics of North Texas. The surgery ended up with an issue that required a second procedure. The operating physician's office was far from where I live in Frisco, so I sought an appointment with Dr. Ritchie since his office is in Frisco.
