Godfrey Brothers is a professionally run, small family business. We have had a steer and lamb butchered at Godfrey's for the last 4 years and are very pleased with their service. They will take the time to explain the various cuts and they package the meats as ordered. We drive the extra miles from MD to use them over the butchers we have used in Baltimore and Harford Co, MD. They also buy from several different farmers and will give an honest opinion of each. We prefer Jay Rickey of Whiteford, MD for quality beef and lamb.
Good Butcher Godfrey Brother's has a great selection of meats. They set up at our local farmers market and do a great job butchering. They offer a wide variety of meats and will do different cuts to your order. They really know there meats. When I first went there I wasn't familiar with all the different cuts, but I would tell them what I wanted the meat for and they would tell me what would work best for it.
