Thank you to Hatch River Expeditions for saving our trip and helping us to get home. We broke down near their warehouse in Cliff Dwellers, and if it wasn't for the welding skills Mark has, and the kindness and generosity of JP and the rest of the crew, we would have been stuck there for hours or days. Thank you again for showing us the love, generosity and kindness that can be rare in this fast paced world. We look forward to going on an expedition once our two youngest are old enough.
I had an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience with Hatch on my motorized rafting trip. Prior to this experience, I had minimal experience camping and rafting, but the guides at Hatch made me feel safe and in good hands. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. This was one of the best trips I have ever taken, and I would encourage anyone interested in this type of experience to book with Hatch.
The word “Grand” must also apply to Hatch River Expeditions for they are as exceptional and authentic as the canyon itself. We experienced a week long trip in true majestic vistas and whitewater rafting at its finest. Amazing hikes, waterfalls and more waterfalls! I booked this trip with a slight inclination of what to expect, but I never thought I would find friendship a new found love of river trips. The Grand Canyon is a magical place and I found myself shedding a couple tears when the trip was over. With the help of JP, Matt Spencer, Matt and Mykeala (and Taja), they guided us through with ease and always happy - I never felt scared or unsafe. They handled all situations like the consummate professionals that they are - 100 out of 10 experience!
What a special trip, with a professional and knowledgeable team! Food was fantastic as well. 5 stars all around.
