I've only gone to one visit. He seems very professional very thorough as well as personable. He doesn't seem rushed. His bedside manner is better than most I've experienced through the sparrow network. Seems like he actually cares. Staff is very friendly I have a very good vibe moving forward with him as my general practitioner. I can't wait to get on the road to better health with Dr Coy. I would give him five stars but I haven't spent that much time working with him.
I appreciate the very straight forward information Dr. Coy gives. He does not leave any questions unanswered about what is happening.
I started seeing Coy years ago as my primary care doctor. I informed him I thought I had been having absence seizures for years and he dismissed me saying I was just "zoning out." Fast forward a couple months, I ended up having a grand mal seizure while driving on the freeway. I woke up in the back of an ambulance headed for the emergency room. My dad went in on a Thursday about pain in his foot coy apparently looked at his foot and diagnosed him with gout..only to find out 4 days later at a hospital that he has a 2” metal foreign object in his foot and it’s infected so bad that he may be losing some of his toes, who knows if a better diagnosis 4 days prior would have helped his outcome but gave him and antibiotic and sent him on his way. My husband saw him as a primary a few times, each time our concerns were disregarded and we were sent home with 4+ new medications that were completely unnecessary. Recently we saw him after an ER visit after my husband was told he was potentially having seizures. Coy disregarded what the ER said and claimed they were just headaches. We had to fight with him to get a nuerologist referral and he told us that they weren’t going to do anything for “headaches”. A few weeks later my husband had a grand mal seizure.
