We were on a Route 66 road trip from Ontario, Canada to California when a large chip and crack suddenly appeared in our windshield entering New Mexico, on a weekend, of course. Had windshield replaced earlier this month. When I picked up my vehicle I notice the outside molding was not fitting properly and new windshield did not have visor tint. When I stated these concerns to the tech I was told the molding was damaged by the dessert sun. Upon further inspection after getting home, I noticed the passenger A pillar and drivers defrost vent were both broken and pieced back together as to hide damage.
