My neighbor's house caught fire back in December of 2017. He hired Tech East for the restoration. They'd show up, do a little work, and then disappear for a month. They'd show up, do a little work, and then disappear for a month. Repeat. It's August, and my neighbor is still not back in his house, which is uninhabitable. He had to fire Tech East and hire somebody else to finish the job. I wouldn't hire them to build a dog house for me.
Let’s be realistic about this company and the owner. Mike is a used car salesmen, he makes promises he can’t keep and he is in it for one thing. Money. I had a fire to my home, insurance gave me tech east for the fire. Biggest mistake ever. They would show up whenever they wanted. Most of the time it would be sporadic, coming once every other week. The outside of my home looked like a junk yard, they didn’t clean up after themselves, and it was embarrassing. I can’t say enough about how amazing this company is. I had a very small attic fire that caused little damage to a bathroom and required repairs in the attic. Even though we were only mildly inconvenienced by the damage, they didn’t treat us any differently than if our whole house was unlivable. Don, Justin, Jamie and countless others were so respectful, kind and fun to work with.
