Do not come here at all! You'd be wasting your time if you came to this shop. I got my car towed here because it was the closest shop near my school. I kept getting told, "I'll call you back for a diagnosis in 30 minutes." Finally after 3 days and constantly being persistent about my car I finally get told what's wrong . It turns out it was my fuel pump that was messed up. I also got told my fuse box was messed up as well. That being said I ended up being quoted $1000. I initially brought my car to Ty’s Auto after a major engine replacement and was hopeful to finally have a mechanic I could trust after a previous bad experience at PepBoys. Ty seemed helpful at first and cleared my check engine light, addressed some engine tension I was experiencing, and charged me $300 for additional work. Ty is Polite, Professional, and an Excellent Machanic ... Be sure to tell him NOT To make any Repairs unless He gives you a written statement with price and You agree to it ... Ty jumped past that my second visit needing Repairs and without warning he repaired what he felt was needed and gave me a Bill for $500 plus ... I had to borrow the money to get my truck out of shop ... I'm on Social Security and I would have shopped around for a less expensive repair ... My truck has been running good since he repaired it with new co... read more
