Went in to get a gift for my dad and Alexis was an absolute joy to work with. She was friendly, knowledgeable and took her time explaining everything to me. I didn't feel rushed even though there were several other people in the store. She even excused herself a couple times to help other staff. I think my experience at the store would have been very different had I been working with another associate. I would highly recommend hiring other employees using Alexis as a baseline. I normally look forward to going into Teavana stores whenever I come across one, but i couldnt walk out of this location fast enough. The employee who greated me at the door followed me around the store and wouldn't give me a minute to even look around. I was excited to buy some tea since I had to drive 2 hours to this closest location, but I left without anything because I couldn't stand having an employee breathe down my neck

I'm a newbie to flavored teas. I researched Teavana, I heard lots of good things about the company. I recently purchased an introductory kit, but I decided to go inside a Teavana store to sample some of the teas and possible purchase one. After several good reviews about how good the teas were and how well the tea was prepared in the store, I went in with high expectations. Let me just say it was a complete let down.
