Not so much in favor of "worker's rights" as they are vacuuming money out of our paychecks, only to turn around and do nothing with it to benefit us. Zero protection from discrimination and harassment or false termination. I watched as several coworkers suffered the same fate. Somehow I'm thriving more at a job without the extra "protection" and taking home more on a lower salary.
To the union-haters, I say: Thank the unions for your wage. Thank them for our weekend. Thank them for our safety. These are all basic issues unions have fought for and improved over the years. They are quality-of-life issues, issues that all working-class Canadians, union and nonunion, should be thankful for.
