I've been on the team since 2009. I had been involved in triathlon since 2000 and for one thing, racing with this team is much better than racing alone. I don't get to many team workouts but having a big group to train with is a huge benefit.
Team Z has an amazing combination openness to people of all levels, strong social support, deep coaching and tons of fun. I joined because I wanted to see if I could simply complete a short triathlon and I needed some help. That help has taken me to multiple long-course world championships as part of Team USA. Your results may vary, but everyone enjoys being part of Team Z.
