Gracie Jiu Jitsu in Courtenay is a great place to go to learn self defense including women and children. The facilities are clean and the instructors are informative and professional. If you want to learn the skill of defending yourself this place is a must to go.

Absolutely amazing place. Instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic with the young ones. They really strive to teach patience, boundaries and respect for others. My son loves attending. He's been at it for over a year and says he wants to help coach when he's older! Highly recommend!
My kids are learning so much through their ju jitsu practice at Goblins. The coaches are knowledgeable and the classes are super fun! Highly recommend!
Both my 7-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter absolutely love their jiu jitsu classes here! The instructors do an incredible job of balancing fun with structure—teaching the kids not just martial arts, but also important life skills like respect, discipline, and good manners.
