In January of 2025, my wife fell. We contacted the Gleason foundation and asked if they could send a portable electric wheelchair. Two days later it arrived and made our life easier. It allowed us to travel for 4 months. She passed away in October. Also, they worked with Tobi-Dynavox to provide eye-voice communication.
Speech Therapist here…I cannot recommend this foundation enough!! They have paid cooays, provided loaner devices, and paid for communication programs and mounts for several of my patients with ALS. Their staff is helpful and responsive. Gleason is incredibly generous!! This is one foundation that is truly helping the masses, 100/10 recommend them!!
