Interesting store to window shop through. We stopped through with our local friends who were touring us around the neighborhood and had browsed through Teak before. The designs feel scandinavian like an expensive high-quality Ikea. We didn’t purchase anything but saw plenty of home decorations that we liked, despite the sticker shock. The even had a cafe in the corner.
Had an amazing customer service experience with my purchase from Teak. Emailed with an issue with an item I ordered from them and received a prompt reply from the CEO (on a Sunday, no less!) and they agreed to fix the issue free of charge. Great products and great service. Definitely worth a purchase if you're in the market for something beautiful for the home :)
distantly homophobic, i cannot fathom the treatment i was given
I purchased a teddy sofa online on November 4th, which was 10 weeks and 6 days ago—exceeding the original 8–10 week delivery window. On the scheduled delivery day we agreed upon together, I was suddenly informed that two pieces were still pending arrival… and the delivery had to be rescheduled. Communication has since been slow, and I’m uncertain when I will actually receive the sofa. I wouldn’t recommend ordering a couch from this here unless you’re prepared to wait for months and months. My husband and I visited two days ago to check out the Teddy couch. Liz was incredibly helpful, patient, and thorough, explaining the benefits of the Teddy couch and others. Highly recommend the store and Liz for her excellent service!
