Tea experts Forget Argo Tea, this place KNOWS tea. Their selection is very impressive and the staff is very knowledgable. I would definitely recommend coming in to this store and asking the staff to recommend you a flavor based on the characteristics you're looking for.
Huge tea selection! I believe that TeaGschwendner is a German company that only has a couple locations in the US. The shop has a huge selection of tea, and a small sit-down area where you can enjoy a pot of tea and snacks. Their loose leaf tea is very high quality--some of the best you can find in the city. They feature single-leaf teas and blends, as well as a small selection of tea accessories (strainers, pots, etc) all of which make good gifts. Great online response store – I have ordered 5 times rom this store. They are always very prompt with response and shipments. The tea is awesome and the black flavored tea is the best I've had in my long(aged 65) life. ;-). If you're shopping for tea, it's great!

Not worth the trip. – Several friends told me to visit TeaGswender. I wondered into the Gold Coast shop to have a look. There was more than one empty thermos outside the shop purporting to have some new fangled tea to try. I wasn't able to try any. The staff, while friendly, acted somewhat aloof or too busy and seemed disinterested in introducing the various teas to curious newcomers like myself.
