How does this place stay in business? – The service has always been slow but today was ridiculous. A server took my order, gave me a napkin, water and then disappeared, apparently along with my order. I had to get up and ask a girl behind the counter to check my order as it had been 15 mins and mind you the place was dead. At the 25 min mark and still no salad I got up to leave, I was told my food was coming. I was no longer in the mood. With all that waiting I had a chance to really check this place out. Dirty, cluttered, n... read more

Please, Move to 82nd! – If you've never had the misfortune to meet the rudest, ugliest -- don't even get me started on that nasty 'hair' --meanest business owner in the world and are just sitting at the edge of your seat waiting to meet her, go visit this place and talk to Janie. What a wench! After I mentioned my sandwich was burned, pretty sure she made it, she told me 'that's the way we make them' then proceeded to charge me EXTRA for my plastic to go water cup. WTF?! Also, the decor is uber gross and belongs on 82nd or i... read more

Best Entertainment & Great Atmosphere – Went here on Sat 11th Aug to listen to Paul Warren play there in the evening, was very impressed. There is an extensive cocktail list & the food was good too (I had a veggie pannini). Its chilled out inside, the barman was cool & friendly and the entertainment was great! What more could you want!

Canned fruit in the smoothies. – After going here for a while and only trying the bubble teas I decided to branch out and try a smoothie. I was mildly hesitant since sometimes the bubble teas are watery. The service is really mediocre/inconsistent and I?ve never really felt welcomed there. I shouldn?t have been surprised but the peach smoothie I ordered was fluorescent orange and undeniably canned peaches. I took a few sips and had to toss it. It was a huge disappointment considering it?s summer and Oregon peaches have a gre... read more

Business response:

We here at the TeaZone/Camellia Lounge put tea into everything, There's fresh tea in our bubble teas, cocktails, tea tonics, and even our fruit-tea smoothies. The fruit is never canned, merely pre-mixed for us with the tea to maximize our tea content and our speedy customer service. Our fruit-tea smoothies are VERY popular menu items year-round and as we understand not all of our tea-infused experiments are for everyone, we apologize for your mediocre experience.

great service and bubble teas – I went to the TeaZone to hear Kacie Sims play, loved the atmosphere in the Lounge, friendly waitstaff and then the following day brought some friends in to the cafe part. Food was great, bubble teas were all amazing and the staff was very friendly, very interactive and knowledgable of the teas. Fun place to just hang out with friends, and enjoy a goo iced or hot beverage.

Tea-infused cocktails (mar-tea-nis) go down so smooth at this swanky Pearl District teashop/cocktail lounge. – In Short Health-conscious tea enthusiasts and savvy nightlife mavens converge at this haven of the leaf. Daylight hours bring post-yoga class pals; evenings draw a whole different kind of posturing in the lounge. Cocktails like the Dirty Harry and Yunnan Toddy are designed to heal the liver, while the Ross Island Iced Tea and Mate mojito blend refreshing flavors. Bar bites are equally unique and yummy, such as the m... read more
