Love this little gem. I've been going to The Tea Leaf for some time now both alone with a good book (kindle) or with friends. Reservations are a must since the place seems to have caught on over the years. Scones are delish and sandwiches, quiche and soups fresh and filling. Good value too.
Shockingly Horrible – My mom, son and I walked in yesterday at 11:55. I'm British and love a good scone. The place was empty we were asked if we had made a reservation. We hadn't. We were told that there was a party of 4 coming in at 12:00 and she would have to fit us in around them. Once the huge party of 4 arrived, she still hadn't taken our order and then preceded to whistle that these 4 women were on their lunch break (so were we) and that to be taken care of and if my son made any noise, I was to immediately leave. Adorable, charming tea room – The Tea Leaf is a great, charming little place for afternoon tea. My sister and I took our mother here for Mother's Day last year; it was the only place we could get a reservation since we waited until a few days before the holiday. We were very pleasantly surprised. The tea room area was decorated in a Victorian style and was absolutely adorable, and the shopping area (all located in the same room) was stocked with more tea, tea accessories, and cute assorted items than it seems like could fit ... read more
