I chopped off my long hair 2 years ago to get rid of the dye and have been growing it back out. My last cut was at a different salon about a year ago, it wasn’t great… it was kind of terrible. The way my loose curls had been cut, the shortest layer was so heavy it wouldn’t curl, while the rest of my hair below that top layer still did curl. Hillary gave me not only an amazing haircut, (possibly the best I’ve had in my 50 years) she created such a calm and comfortable environment in a fairly busy salon; it felt like I was sipping tea in her own personal salon or kitchen! Salons often make people nervous, and getting a haircut can be a vulnerable thing to do. Hillary tuned in to what I wanted, what I was saying and I felt safe.
