I needed to get my input shaft bearing replaced and was referred to TDS by another shop. Great experience, the work was done quicker than I expected and the price was lower than I expected. Definitely recommend.
Called other transmission places in Newmarket all between $7000 to $8000 to rebuild my transmission TDS transmissions fixed it for $452 thanks TDS for your honesty
John and TDS Transmission Specialists Inc. to the rescue!!! I was told by another Newmarket shop, that had originally done the Master and Slave cylinder, that they wont repair my failed master cylinder (work they did only weeks before) because their work was good but my clutch was the problem - they then quoted me over $2000 parts and labour for a clutch and pressure plate, and they wouldn't be able to take it in for a week. I went to John for a second opinion after Subaru quoted me $5000+ (2015 CVT; possible solenoid issues and O2 sensor). The codes my car gave were atypical (I had 1 of the 2 codes it should have had) so John suggested clearing them and driving the car to see if or when they came back. John also mentioned it could have been a power surge and a fluke. John cleared the codes and reassured me it was ok to drive the car. I'm 1000 kms after clearing and no issues.
