I've have goid experiences with TDECU in Lake Jackson, TX, but my experiences in the Houston area have not been very good. Maybe it's just the difference between rural banks and banks in the city, but you are definitely treated different at the locations in the Houston area. The two locations in the Houston area I visited was the one of Hwy 1960 and the one of Fry Road. I went to this location just now December 30th 2:30 pm the person in costumer service front desk is horrible to be in this position, I recommend the bank to re evaluate the person in this position the men is disrespectful and not courteous at all . Super disappointed for the service received in this location
Anyone who put less than 5 stars was not helped by Ryan Rodriguez. Ryan was present and acknowledged my presence immediately. He had the most welcoming personality and so helpful. Ryan made my month by giving me info. about using my credit card out of the country with no extra fees. Ryan, I am so grateful to you and I hope TDECU is just as grateful for you.
TDECU is sketchy. You can't call the local office. You have to go through the 800# and someone is "supposed" to call you back. If you have a question about an account they want to verify you with 10 or more questions only to send you to the department that you actually wanted to speak with...only to have them ask you the same questions. Their technology and processes are like 100 years old. The membership card is like an elementary school library card.
