I had a Truma hot water system issue and I was advised to go to TDC in Alice Springs on our way from Mt Isa down through the centre. The tradesman Scott seemed ok. The two Office staff on the other hand were very rude, unhelpful and nasty. When my new Truma finally arrived on a Friday, no offer to do it Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Tuesday at 9am the install started and it took 4.5 hrs. Scott and the apprentice cost $225/hr plus GST. And then the gasfitter cost $350 cash. Recently visited this establishment following a new Dometic fridge in canopy playing up. Arrived on a Monday morning at opening time. Waited for a good while the office lady had her cigarette and coffee out front. When she came in, asked me how can she help, I explained my situation & she sternly replied "well we can't look at it today!" I was receptive acknowledged that I didn't expect that anyone would be available at short notice. "Come back at 8am tomorrow!"
