I am writing to express my absolute disgust regarding the service I received at this TD branch. I visited the location to apply for a credit card, only to be met with verbal abuse from a staff member. The employee (an Asian female) shouted at me, stating that because "some new immigrants" have poor credit history, I was automatically ineligible for a card. I am deeply disappointed with the persistent lack of professionalism and accountability at this branch. After successfully completing my credit card application and submitting all necessary documents, I waited over a month without any update. Despite visiting the branch in person to follow up, I was sent home with a vague promise of a phone call that never arrived. Enoch Lau was really great - he spent over an hour with me to review my opening a trading account. He even explained some registered investment rules that are not at TD, including RESP's and RRSP's vs. TFSA. He was clear and informative. He even showed what the trading account will look like and how to navigate around the system. Enoch is great and his assistance and knowledge is very appreciated!
