If I could give 0 stars I would. Received completely incorrect mortgage advice from Hussain Fakhrawi. They explicitly told me multiple times no penalty would be charged on my refinance but when they were about to fill out the application, they said everything they said was wrong, admitted to me in person, and the application was cancelled. I bank with a different institution, but I was genuinely surprised by how difficult it has been to help my elderly neighbour make a payment on his TD Visa. I first went to the branch with cash (just a couple hundred dollars) and was told they couldn't accept it because I don't have a TD account. I was advised to either set up online banking for him (not realistic given his age) or return with a cheque payable to his TD Visa. Terrible customer experience in terms of wait time. 2 tellers 8 customers in line! It’s the same situation every time-regardless time of day. So frustrating tbh. It’s 2026-customer service/experience is vital. Obviously not at TD bank!!
