Update: as it turned out, the wire was sat upon internally and I wound up watching the deadline slide past and personally having to fork out over a thousand bucks to cover the cost of the extension. Things finally moved after involving my lawyer. Funds cleared just minutes from needing to take out an emergency mortgage to avert greater cashflow issues and imminent lawsuits! Paid the wiring fee on person at branch and did not receive amount several days after. About to miss the deadline today. Spoke to TD helpline who insisted the transaction was stuck at the branch level. I had no idea,and it was embarrassing to hear back from intended recipient the amount didn't hit their bank. Never received a call from branch.
