The worst customer service. They just told me to call, but I didn't even have a signal. There wasn't even a manager around.
I have been a customer at this branch since 1968 when I was in my early teens. I had your manager Mac as a night school student years ago who went around the bean counters to help me; and up to a couple of months ago, Shaminder that always went beyond to obtain the best interest rate for me. She has now retired, so I wish her the very best. But when my recent GICs matured, I held back a substantial amount and placed it in a TD Growth Savings account at a boosted rate of 1.3%. Recently visited this TD branch with my family to do some banking. We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and competence both "Marissa Z" and "Rachel F" provided. They were able to squeeze us into an "immediate appointment" when normally one is supposed to be scheduled to setup account sharing between family members. Though it was not protocol, and they said they would not be able to repeat this in the future, we appreciated them accommodating us on short notice. We're from out of town and had some minor issues to take care of, mostly questions from my son about his financial options. We walked into the Como Lake branch and were very well treated. It was fairly busy. Benjamin Choy sat us down and was extremely patient and helpful. Above and beyond what I've grown to expect at any bank. 100% recommend.
