The staff at this branch wasted my time, and were completely inept. I went in with a cheque from my insurance company to pay off a car loan, and they did not know what they were doing. After we finally got done, I went home & called the TD auto to complete the transaction, as instructed, and I was told the branch had made mistakes and that I needed to return to the branch to get them to fix it. The branch was unhelpful when I returned, making me wait around 45 minutes to get to me, then insisted they did everything correctly... read more
Switch to Wealthsimple… way better service…
Came to pay a bill for my mom who is ill. They told me because I don’t bank with TD myself that I can’t pay the bill. They said and I quote ‘we no longer take cash from third parties.’ What bank doesn’t take cash… you’re a banking institution… and I am trying to pay a bill from your bank. Horrible customer service. I don’t bank with TD and will certainly not consider it after this experience. Also the bill was $11. You think people will scam you out of $11 dollars cash? Shameful is all I can say.
I just wanted to let people know that I had two employees at this branch, which is not my home branch, really help me out today getting a check cleared in a highly stressful/time sensitive situation for me. I was needing a real estate deposit refund check cleared, which I needed done immediately so I could get a bank draft for a new home. There was no time for me to go back to the issuing brokerage and have them go to their bank to certify, if they were even willing to. Trash there’s no way this is a secure place to keep your money. It’s just tellers arguing with you about basic stuff. Get it together.
