I’m not usually someone who writes negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at this TD branch, as it left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. When I arrived, the teller I dealt with (a blonde woman with a European-sounding accent—potentially slavic, I didn’t catch her name) was polite at first, but her demeanour shifted very quickly. Oct. 4. 2022. Td Branch in University heights. Friendly staff. But if you are sensitive to scents, this is not the bank for you. The last 2 visits it smelled like someone was burning essential oils in there. Which made it very hard to breath. Hurt my lungs. And my head started to feel dizzy. I was not the only customer to complain of the smell. Public buildings, that deal with the public, should not burn air freshners, essential oils etc. in them. One of the person at teller was so unprofessional and rude that I will never go there again. Store Manager was helpful.
I had a great experience at this branch. Rachelle Apasan helped me open a new account, and she was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. She made the whole process easy and stress-free. Thank you, Rachelle, for the excellent service!
Worst TD branch in the city, possibly the country. Even other banks ask you to avoid doing business here because they are so difficult to deal with. They now place full 6 day holds on bank drafts! What’s the point of a bank draft??
