I used TD Automotive Services to carry out extensive maintenance and repairs on my old classic car. The work carried out was first class and also reasonably charged. It’s hard to find a mechanic that wants to work on very old cars but the owner of this mechanical business in Gisborne North is passionate about working on cars of all kinds and it shows up in the quality workmanship.

I have used TD Automotive services several times in the past. Usually they have been excellent. I rang today to get a quote on a service (spoke to a Myles) and straight away I got sighing and an attitude that he couldn't care less and I was putting him out. Asked how much for a timing belt service and got more sighing and more reluctance....I was told he would have to look up the cost of a kit then another sigh followed by an awkward silence which felt like he wanted to end the conversation.....which is what happened.
