Loved Scottrade! Mark and Dave were great! Trying to get help, information or just talk to someone at Ameritrade is a joke. Don’t bother to call unless you have an enormous amount of time to sit on hold. I find their online services convoluted.
Mark Zivkovich is excellent. My mother and I have been working with him this year and he has been extremely helpful. He has a great attitude and truly cares about his clients. Highly recommend!

I am not impressed with TD Ameritrade. I liked Scottrade better. I can't even call the local office without going through a bunch of automated voice prompts. The trading platform is also really bad. I have all my accounts linked, but it always takes trades out of my main account, even when I switch to another account and try to trade out of it. This has caused me to buy on margin from my main account a few times, which I don't like to use, but I didn't even realize it was making the trades in my main account even though I wa... read more
