Ameritrade can no longer offer adequate service by closing this office even temporarily. There is an hour wait to talk to anyone which is outrageous and time to open satellite offices. The person I did talk to was totally unprofessional.

I thought I'd counterpoint the negative review before me with a positive one. I've been using TDA as a brokerage for several years now, (Scottrade before the merger) and the staff at this location was incredibly friendly and helpful when I was setting it up. They called me a day after I had some issues completing a form even though I didn't ask for help, and offered additional assistance and guidance in case I needed it. That's superb.

The manager of the Peoria branch office, Jason, has excellent customer service and is a big reason I'm still using Scottrade.

So Scottrade lets my account information be stolen and they are "kind" enough to provide me ID protection for one year. Hello scottrade, my social security # will now be on the black market forever. Also, not impressed that scottrade did not have a clue that this happened over a year ago. It was the FBI that had to tell you 4.5 million Scottrade accounts had been hacked. Disturbing.
