In May 2025 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of lungs and bones. I do not believe in chemotherapy and radiation, so I start looking for alternative medicine clinic. By chance I was referred to Dr. Mao and without much notice, he fit me in and continues to accommodate me when it comes to scheduling appts. He has helped me greatly and I appreciate his care and attention in dealing with the multiple health issues I have. I have referred my daughter to him and I would recommend him to others.
Drove 30 minutes to get to this appointment. There was another doctor in a session, but nobody else in the office. I texted at 5 minutes past appointment time. Nothing. I waited 15 minutes and left. No response until I was back in the car and driving. My second bad LO business experience. I guess they have enough time and money to not be respectful of others time and money.
I stayed in New York state and had my miscarriage. It was happened that I was scheduled to fly to Portland the next day. In my devastated state, I still strongly believe in TCM to help my body naturally miscarriage cleanly and recondition before we are trying to have a baby again. Dr Mao patiently listened and immediately prescribed a herbal tea (with the help of local shop to brew it for me to consume immediately during my trip there) to help with the miscarriage.
