Holy Moley! I gotta say! That young Lady Monica in room 3 today Was kicking butt and taking names! She grabbed at least 7 tubes from my little vein with a tiny butterfly needle Made it look soo easy! No pain. No problems. In n out! You’re gonna have a great career Monica! Go get your dreams!!
The only good thing about my visit was the person drawing my blood. 50 minutes from going in the door to leaving. I have never waited that long for a blood draw.
The woman who attempted my blood draw, was fine until she went to deep searching for the vein she missed. And hit the tendon. I let her know she was to deep. And hit the tendon and it hurt. She pulled back, then went deeper again because she got a flash. I now have pain in my arm and my fingers are tingling.
Update: from 1* to 3*. We came the next day and the lab tech was very pleasant and prompt to draw blood. It seems the experience varies depending on who helps you. Tracy was awesome! Richland closes at 4:30 so we rush to Grandridge, arriving at 4:48 pm. I check in and they claim they can't find my orders. I call the doctor's office and they confirm they were sent earlier. I ask the receptionist to look again and she miraculously finds the orders. But it's 4:57 pm now. She tells me they can't do a blood draw now because someo... read more
This Lab should be absolutely embarrassed by the conditions. A 2+ hour wait time. No way to schedule an appointment. Rude employees. Standing room only. People coughing and sneezing on everyone else. Seriously. Eww
