I purchased a $1500 race transmission from TCI and 10” stall for $630. I only drive the vehicle on the weekends on short trips to car meets and went to the track one time and made 2 passes. In under 1000 miles the unit started to slip. Because my vehicle is a weekend warrior this problem did not occur till after the 30 day warranty. Plus TCI’s warranty is 30 days at the date of purchase and I did not receive the unit till the warranty was about over. So unless your transmission fails immediately you are S.O.L.
