This company will literally steal money from you. Do not open a new account when you come to NIU. TCF will make sure you can't withdraw your $50. Then give you "paper statement charges" until your account is at -$34, then say you are in debt. Malicious company that will betray your trust.
It's in the JewelOsco, very good customer service, we had to order new checks because we had moved. They said it could take two weeks, we got them yesterday.

I withdraw my previous complaint regarding TCF bank. The team at the DeKalb branch was very helpful to address my issues. They responded to my complaint in an efficient manner. I appreciate their customer service.
I don't have any complain about the TCF team members. However, I am giving the low score to the bank because of the inefficient way they handled the issue of changed routing number. TCF changed their routing number last year. They did not inform me regarding this change. They claimed to mail me a letter concerning the routing number. However, they sent the letter to an incorrect address, even though I have updated my mailing address three years ago. They did not email me regarding this.
