I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to bank here. The lady in charge is god awful, and rude. Switched to another bank, haven’t had any issues. Each time I walked in to TCF there was a new problem or policy that prevented them from doing their jobs. Look elsewhere. Much better service elsewhere.
This SAME branch had no problem cashing other stimulus checks (with the same funds in the account as there were today), however they wouldn't cash one today. A GOVERNMENT CHECK!? The manager clearly doesn't know what she's doing, talking about or just plain discriminating. I should have went to the drive-thru like I did before without a problem. That's why I only use TCF for one reason, every two months. Definitely not my main banking company.
I went to add someone to my account and the worker Dimitri seem like he didnt know what he was doing since he kept asking for help lost my forms with all my info and i went back after 24-48hrs they said to get a card amd it was never enter in there system because he lost it and then the karen at the desk starts talking to me with a attitude for no reason and she didnt even ask him what he did with the papers. Overall the place is horrible WOULD NOT RECOMMEND unless you like waiting 4-7 days for your money to come on.
Do not bank with them. Terrible customer service.
