I have been with TCF for over 6 years and I have never had any problems with them at all. Online banking is great and the website is easy to use. When I do go into a branch the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend to friends.
I HATE TCF bank!!! I am so sick of them stealing my money! Yesterday I made a CASH deposit, CASH! Which means it should have been in my account effective immediately. And today when I tried to use my card, it was declined. So I went in today and they said there was a "batch error" and "my money may go into my account sometime this afternoon, maybe". So where is my money now? In limbo? They are so shady! And they have taken over $600 from me in the past claiming my account was in the negative. I am getting a hold of their cor... read more
I was in this branch with a friend who banks there and was so shocked. A lady, who I was told is the manager, Natalie, was upset with an employee. She was yelling at the poor girl and using the 'f' word. I found that to be the most unprofessional behavior. How can a manager act so disgracefully is beyond me. My friend who banks at tcf said this mgr does that all the time.I don't think I'll ever walk in that bank again.
