Please explain why I would have to make an appointment to take my vehicle in to get an estimate on brake pads and rotors? Then make an additional appointment to actually take it in to have the work done?

Excellent service. Friendly and we're honest that I didn't need a fix to my car, which was very appreciated and says a lot about their integrity. Clean too.
These guys are great. Fast, honest, fair prices. They're on the complete opposite side of town from me but worth the effort to take my car there. They're willing to work on older cars too (even an '84 Buick). And offered to put my classic car indoors overnight when I couldn't get there in time to pick it up. Highly recommend.
