Could not understand lady who answered the phone. Very poor English. How do you get hired to work the phones? Must hurt the business.
I took my CR-V there when it would start chugging while driving. The first time they charged me $700 to fix it, I drove down the street after paying that, and it did the exact same thing. I did not get upset, took it back, and again they charged about the same, but it was good for a while. It started doing it again. This time, I added oil; it was bone dry, and it stopped doing it, but I thought I'd better take it in. I took it back to them this time around $1000 to fix it. Edit: After seeing another review in the past week of someone else who brought their vehicle in for an estimate and ended up paying without consenting to work, it seems my experience isn't an isolated incident. There's other good shops on the North Shore folks and I'm sure they're more transparent than this one. I’m not one to write reviews but felt like sharing my experience. My car went in for a collision repair and they did a really great job. Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent communication. My car looked brand new at pick up. Cleaned inside and out. Was given a loaner car too. Bonus! Highly recommend Taylormotive anytime. Thank you.
Buyer beware. I can’t comment on their repairs, but be careful if you go in for an estimate. They contacted ICBC on my behalf and filed a claim for my repairs without my knowledge, consent or authorization. Next thing you know, I’m getting countless calls about parts they ordered (without approval from ICBC) and how I owe them a restocking fee if I don’t go with them.
