Go Elsewhere - Save Your Pets Never again, will I take any animal to Larry Miller (I will not give the distinction of doctor, DVM, or any other such title). I took a friendly, 7 week old feral kitten that had been living on my deck because I noticed she had not been eating or drinking, not even from her mother. She was sneezing, coughing, and couldn't see because her eyes were closed with dried mucus. Miller said the problem was cat nutrition, and proceeded to educate me on his very expensive Science Diet cat food, and how m... read more
Don't go there!!! I had a similar horrible experience with Dr. Miller with a very sweet pit bull I had several years ago. He was the only person ever that could bring out the bad side of her and she was a good judge of people. I took my other dog there in an emergency situation after a snake bite and his back room was crawling with roaches and he was cold as ice. I left with her and drove to Dr. James Woods at Balcones. Now I know about Dr. Graef who is excellent and compassionate (and close). Don't take your dog to this vet... read more
A Genuinely Caring Doctor My experience with this veterinary hospital is excellent. Doctor Miller is nothing but kind and a very knowledgeable and experienced veterinarian. His rates are very affordable and he genuinely cares about the animals he attends to.

Expensive I had to visit this vet once when the other vet in town was closed. He was very expensive and did not seem as knowledge as other vets I had been to. He also tried to sell me unnecessary items.
only in it for the money Two visits:When we first moved to Texas we lived in Taylor and needed to get the dogs shots. We went to this hospital for the shots and this man not only gave the shots but also insisted that the two dogs get all sorts of tests that they had had by their prior vets in another state. The only thing we needed was the shots deemed needed by the state of Texas. This visit that should have cost $100.00 max ended up costing almost $200.00.My friend and I were walking our dogs and hers got caught up in her ... read more
