Well Dr. Vance is a good doctor, trying to get a hold of his office on hold for 27 minutes and still not being gotten to is insane. I'm looking around
Cortison shots dont heal severed labrums. Severed labrums dont heal with bad joints. I cant walk more than a few hundred feet or sever pain and limping occurs. I asked for a second opinion and selcted a Dr. His staff would only allow a second opinion by a Dr choosen by this Dr. What kind of a second opinion is that. Sounds like a guy who needs to get in a Drs ear before someonen says something different. Cortison is bad for you and does not heal. I had injured my lft knee in a skiing accident. Dr.Vance performed arthroscopic trimming of the damaged meniscus, but preserved enough of the meniscus to maintain its original function. The post op course was painless, and with physical therapy, rapid as if nothing had happened. Dr. Vance was very thoughtful in his assessment, review of the MR, and discussion of the options and projected outcomes. It made the decision for surgery an easy one, with a confidence that I could expect a good outcome and further skiing.
