The Grumpy Store Good little hardware store , stock a bit of everything which living nearby is super helpful. But literally every time I go to checkout I am confronted with a check out girl with a major attitude who obviously hates her job or just hates people in general. Friends and neighbors have commented on the same. Yes, I will continue to go there, but a little common courtesy would be appreciated. People working in the back of the store have been wonderful.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I dropped off my Husqvarna leaf blower at Johnson's Hardware Rental and Repair in Groton, CT almost 6 months ago for a warranty repair. It was still covered under the Husqvarna warranty, and when I left it with them, I explicitly agreed to pay for diagnostics if the repair wasn’t covered. About a month later, they called to tell me the carburetor needed replacement and that they had already ordered the part from Husqvarna. Poor customer service. I cant speak for their work because Ive heard good things, but when a customer calls in, keeps getting bounced around between 4 people on hold, and each person asks the same question every-time they answer and then cops an attitude because they dont have all the details we provided multiple times, thats not fair to the customer. This interaction caused me to seek service elsewhere.
Now independent Johnson's Hardware and rental" but hasn't changed a lot.
