If we could give less than one star, we would. Mr. Taylor took a $2,500 retainer fee to defend my daughter from her son's father, who is dragging her through the court system for his own purposes. He appeared once to request a continuance, and the second time he appeared he was not even licensed anymore. What a horrible experience for a young mother who does not have more money to hire yet another attorney. He refuses to return a dime, stating he's blown through the retainer already. Writing this for a friend. She’s been in the midst of a divorce and Scott Taylor was supposed to be helping her. She has been using him for months. I wrote a previous review because he had disappeared for a while as my friend was being evicted (ex completely cut her off) and should have stuck with my gut; but took it down after Scott assured he was on top of things. I hired a lawyer at this firm probably 6+ months ago, and I never get updates from them. They haven't called me in over 3 months to let me know anything new with my case. I have small children that I'm missing time with waiting on these lawyers. I pay more than half my check to child support but DO NOT get to see my children at all. And all I'm doing is waiting on this firm to tell me what's going on or a court date. This is absolutely unprofessional. What am I paying for????
Had an appointment scheduled for a consultation two weeks in advance. With less than a 24 hour notice, I received a text and email stating they aren’t taking new clients at this time and cancelled my appointment. Unsure why this information wasn’t shared when I originally scheduled the appointment and it was known that I’m a new client. Now I’m having to wait on average another two weeks for an available attorney as that’s about the wait time I’ve noticed in Springfield. Not happy about this first impression at all
