Tim and his crew did an excellent job restoring, sealing and painting the Tudor boards on our 100 year old home! Most of the Tudor board was the original hand hewn board, but some of them were in rough shape. Our goal was to keep as much of the home’s original character as possible through the repair. Tim Taylor and crew painted the exterior brick section of our home, and an interior area including master bedroom, hall/laundry and master bath. He explained the details of remediating extensive brick peeling and spalling from a much earlier paint job, and we discussed interior trim paint in particular. The crew spent many hours meticulously scraping the crumbling exterior paint, soft power wash and application of a masonry sealant before two coats of exterior paint. We worked with Taylor Painting & Carpentry on interior painting in our home, adding a board and batten accent wall, crown molding and some tricky framing of our staircase. The team did a great job! Jimmy in particular was outstanding, coming up with recommendations and great execution of the work. What made Tim stand out compared to other contractors we've worked with is that he would regularly check on the status of the work and provide guidance to the team. I highly recommend Tim and his crew!
