From the outside, Wooded Bliss looks exactly like a wooded bliss! And the inside is just the same. But as soon as you close the front door, which takes a rocket scientist to figure out how to lock, Wood Bliss becomes a Wood Nightmare. We currently stayed 5 days at the chasing dreams cabin. Don’t get me wrong the home is beautiful, & you can tell that the owners did a wonderful job decorating, & keeping the place tidy, but the neighbors!! Our first three nights we constantly had the neighbor to our left walking around in the trees, and watching us by the fireplace. I have been renting units at Deep Creek for over 16 years, most often through Railey Mountain, but this time we chose Taylor Rental. We booked a five-day stay at the Mountain Crest Lodge in Deep Creek, MD. Had the wonderful misfortune of staying in a Taylor-Made house in the awful Stilwater community. When we arrived arrived at the house, there were spilled ant traps everywhere in the house (like the goo that is inside of the ant traps were spilled everywhere), there were nails sticking up all over the deck and railings, there was hair on the shower walls (which means the house wasn’t cleaned properly before us), there is a huge hole in the driveway right by the back deck that you very easily step in. We arrived to our rental at Deep Creek lake to find the deck covered in water with moss growing in it and an empty hot tub running. We immediately called TM. The first thing the rep told us was “oh yea, your hot tub is out of service this week” when we called to report it. They knew and didn’t tell us! Then proceeded to tell us there are no refunds for amenities being down. We booked this location and spent extra money specifically for the hot tub. Within an hour, a hot tub repair person showed up.
